This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving strategic growth within the supply chain and commerce enablement space. As a Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for expanding a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market clients, helping them transform their logistics and fulfillment operations through innovative, tech-enabled solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding them through complex supply chain challenges and positioning end-to-end service offerings that improve efficiency and customer experience. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure long-term client success. - Drive new business acquisition by identifying, prospecting, and engaging high-value enterprise and mid-market clients using account-based selling strategies.
- Build and maintain strong consultative relationships with clients and prospects to understand their supply chain needs and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
- Present and position end-to-end fulfillment, warehousing, and transportation services to support customer growth and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, customer success, and product to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Manage and track all sales activities, pipeline development, and client interactions through CRM systems.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.
- Represent the organization in client meetings, negotiations, and industry engagements as a senior commercial leader.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or fulfillment services.
- Proven track record of closing mid-market and enterprise-level deals in complex, solution-based environments.
- Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, and e-commerce fulfillment ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and constantly evolving environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
