Job Title: Plant Operations Manager (Manufacturing/Food Processing)
Location: Logansport, IN
Work Mode: Onsite

Job Summary

Responsible for overall plant operations across multiple shifts, including production, maintenance, safety, quality, and logistics, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of production, maintenance, shipping or receiving, and sanitation
• Lead and develop cross functional teams across multiple departments
• Ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Analyze performance and cost data to drive improvements
• Resolve product quality and operational issues
• Implement process improvements and optimize plant efficiency
• Support talent development, succession planning, and retention
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 8 plus years of relevant experience (food processing preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); SAP knowledge preferred
• Approximately 6–11 trips per year
