About This Position
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Operations Specialist in United Kingdom.
This role sits at the center of internal IT operations for a fully remote, globally distributed organization. You will be the primary point of contact for IT support across multiple teams and brands, ensuring employees have seamless access to the tools they need to work effectively. The position combines hands-on technical support with a strong focus on automation and process improvement. You will handle a high volume of tickets while actively reducing repetitive work through scripting and AI-driven solutions. Beyond troubleshooting, you will own onboarding, offboarding, and access management workflows across a complex SaaS environment. This is a highly autonomous role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environments and enjoys building structure where none exists. Your impact will be felt across the entire organization through speed, reliability, and continuous operational improvement.
You will be responsible for delivering fast, clear, and empathetic IT support to a globally distributed workforce, while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across core business tools. Alongside ticket resolution, you will take ownership of system administration, employee lifecycle processes, and automation initiatives that reduce manual workload and improve scalability.
- Resolve IT support requests efficiently, covering device issues, access management, and general technical troubleshooting
- Administer key SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Asana, Trelica, and related tools
- Manage end-to-end IT aspects of onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning, permissions, and deprovisioning
- Identify repetitive workflows and implement automation using scripting, APIs, or AI-based tools
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and workflows to ensure operational continuity
- Support device provisioning and MDM enrollment, ensuring security compliance and accurate asset tracking
- Coordinate with vendors and manage software renewals and subscriptions
This role requires solid hands-on IT operations experience in dynamic, fast-moving environments, with strong technical autonomy and a mindset geared toward automation and continuous improvement. You should be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly in distributed teams, and solving problems across a wide SaaS ecosystem.
- 4+ years of experience in IT support or IT operations, ideally in startup, scale-up, or remote-first environments
- Strong admin-level experience with SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, or similar tools
- Practical understanding of automation, with exposure to scripting languages, APIs, and webhooks
- Hands-on experience integrating or using AI tools within operational workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset toward eliminating repetitive tasks
- Clear, concise, and empathetic communication skills in asynchronous, remote environments
- Ability to work independently with high ownership and minimal supervision
- 100% remote work with maximum flexibility over location and working hours
- High autonomy and trust-based working culture
- Minimal bureaucracy with a focus on efficiency and outcomes
- Collaborative and friendly global team environment
- Access to a broad network of SaaS professionals and knowledge-sharing community
- Flexible time off to support rest and personal well-being
