Facilities Coordinator at Christie Ossington Neighborhood Centre – Toronto, Ontario

About the Role

We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day maintenance and coordination of our buildings across multiple sites in Toronto.

This is a hands-on, practical role focused on keeping spaces safe, functional, and well-maintained while supporting a growing and complex organization.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs across multiple locations
• Conduct site visits and identify building maintenance needs
• Schedule and coordinate contractors and vendors
• Track work orders, maintenance activities, and service records
• Support preventative maintenance processes
• Assist with facility improvement projects and site readiness
• Communicate with staff regarding maintenance timelines and issues

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or property management
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general repairs)
• Experience working with contractors and coordinating service work
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across sites
• Clear communication and follow-through
• Valid driver’s license
