This role is a highly technical, hands-on position at the core of the eDiscovery operations lifecycle, responsible for transforming complex and high-volume data into structured, review-ready formats for legal review and litigation support.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and defensibility of processed data across diverse sources such as email, cloud platforms, chat systems, and mobile forensic images.
The position requires deep expertise in data processing workflows, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining strict chain-of-custody and compliance standards.
You will work closely with project managers and legal operations teams to support time-sensitive matters and ensure delivery excellence.
The role also contributes to process optimization, tooling improvements, and technical mentorship within the operations team.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical processing skills with a methodical, quality-focused approach to large-scale data handling.
- Execute end-to-end processing of complex data sets including email, chat, cloud exports, and mobile forensic images, ensuring accurate transformation into review-ready formats.
- Perform deduplication, metadata normalization, text extraction, OCR processing, and exception handling across diverse data types and sources.
- Troubleshoot corrupted, encrypted, or proprietary file formats while ensuring data integrity and defensibility.
- Prepare and publish processed data into review platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, or DISCO with accurate field mapping and family relationships.
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation, audit logs, and SOPs to support compliance and litigation readiness.
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to meet deadlines and ensure technical requirements are met.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying workflow enhancements, evaluating tools, and sharing best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on technical processing and quality control standards.
- 5+ years of experience in eDiscovery processing within operations, litigation support, or managed services environments.
- Strong experience with eDiscovery processing platforms such as Nuix, Relativity Processing, FTK, or similar tools at scale (multi-TB environments).
- Solid understanding of EDRM framework, chain-of-custody principles, metadata structures, and defensibility standards.
- Hands-on experience processing data from Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and mobile forensic tools such as Cellebrite or GrayKey.
- Familiarity with archives and container formats such as ZIP, RAR, and 7z, as well as complex encoding and OCR challenges.
- Strong technical skills including scripting or automation experience (Python and/or PowerShell preferred).
- Knowledge of hosting platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, or DISCO and best practices for publishing processed data.
- Excellent documentation skills and experience working with ticketing systems and structured workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive processing tasks.
- Competitive base salary range of $75,000–$85,000 depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
