About This Position

In partnership with the Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), this position serves as a Product Support Manager (Communication Documents & Inventory) / Logistics Analyst III responsible for providing advanced logistics documentation, configuration management, and inventory‑related support to Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. The role directly supports PM AAA by working alongside the Government Project Lead and logistics SMEs to ensure accurate documentation, controlled configuration management, and effective lifecycle reporting in support of program readiness and sustainment objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Leaders and SMEs in the development, coordination, maintenance, and reporting of all communication documents and inventory‑related logistics activities.
- Maintain configuration control of Program and Product Support documentation, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with DoD, DoN, and USMC standards.
- Develop and maintain logistics documentation schedules, including integrated timelines for reviews, updates, and formal submissions.
- Prepare communication documents, logistics briefs, executive‑level summaries, and reporting products for leadership engagements and recurring program events.
- Analyze applicable Government policies, standards, and directives, and provide recommendations regarding their applicability to PM AAA documentation and inventory processes.
- Review Vendor CDRLs and program documentation for compliance, completeness, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs), including documentation preparation, configuration control, schedule tracking, and status reporting.
- Develop, update, and maintain ILA documentation, schedules, and required lifecycle updates.
- Support the development and maintenance of Logistics Management Information (LMI) and perform data entry into LMI databases as required.
- Maintain SIPRNet access, as required, to support the development, review, and handling of classified logistics documentation.
- Coordinate with Government and Vendor stakeholders to ensure timely submission, review, and approval of logistics deliverables.
- Track and report the status of logistics documentation, schedules, and inventory‑related milestones to support program decision‑making.
- Ensure all communication documents, inventory reports, and sustainment artifacts meet PM AAA formatting, quality, and compliance standards.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Government and Vendor stakeholders to ensure timely submission, review, and approval of logistics deliverables.
- Track and report the status of logistics documentation, schedules, and inventory‑related milestones to support program decision‑making.•Assist in the preparation of communication documents, briefing materials, and executive summaries for leadership and program reviews.
- Maintain configuration control of ILA artifacts, schedules, and supporting documentation throughout the assessment lifecycle.
- Ensure all communication documents, inventory reports, and sustainment artifacts meet PM AAA formatting, quality, and compliance standards.
- Provide administrative and technical support for logistics‑related meetings, reviews, and working groups.
- Support integration of logistics data, updates, and findings into program‑level reporting and decision forums.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience supporting DoD, DoN, or USMC acquisition or sustainment programs.
- Demonstrated experience in logistics documentation development, configuration management, and lifecycle documentation control.Experience preparing executive‑level briefs, reports, and communication products.
- Experience supporting ILAs, including documentation preparation, configuration control, and schedule management. • Familiarity with LMI development processes and logistics data systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SIPRNet access, if required by the Government.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documents, schedules, and reporting requirements across the program lifecycle.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced‑level knowledge equivalent to DAU Life Cycle Logistics certification standards (preferred).
- Experience supporting DoD, DoN, or USMC acquisition programs, particularly in logistics documentation and configuration management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing, reviewing, and maintaining logistics communication documents, CDRLs, and lifecycle sustainment artifacts.
- Experience supporting Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs), including documentation preparation, configuration control, and schedule management.
- Strong understanding of DoD, DoN, and USMC logistics policies, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Experience with Logistics Management Information (LMI) development and logistics data systems.
- Ability to maintain SIPRNet access and support classified documentation development, if required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documents, schedules, and reporting requirements across the program lifecycle.
- Ability to coordinate with Government, Vendor, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure timely submission and approval of logistics deliverables.
- Proficiency in preparing executive‑level briefs, summaries, and communication products for leadership and program reviews.
- Familiarity with configuration management practices and documentation control processes.
- Experience supporting logistics‑related meetings, working groups, and program reviews.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality, compliant documentation under tight deadlines.
