Overview
Are you ready to launch your career by building software that makes a real-world impact? As a developer on our team, you will build software leveraging Esris products and APIs for customers across a wide swathe of sector.
This is a unique opportunity to grow your technical skills while contributing to projects that matter. Youll work alongside engineers and mentors in a collaborative, cross-functional environment that values learning, innovation and purpose. From building intuitive AI web interfaces to writing Python for geoprocessing tools and AI agents, youll be exposed to the full development lifecycle and cutting-edge GIS solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build C++ software components that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
- Develop excellent software for use in field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, street navigation, and more
- Collaborate with other programmers and developers throughout the development process
- Define user requirements; design and develop applications and APIs for device
- Ensure that ArcGIS software meets real-world usage scenarios
- Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences
Requirements
- Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Mapping, GIS, or a related field
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered, or one (1) year of experience in a related occupation
- Demonstrated experience in ArcGIS, Agile, Scrum, Jenkins, C++, GitHub, SQL, Qt, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and API Design
