This role is ideal for a hands-on leader responsible for managing and guiding a team of field service technicians across a regional territory. You will ensure that service operations run efficiently, customer issues are resolved promptly, and maintenance standards are upheld. The Regional Service Manager plays a key role in coordinating schedules, tracking performance, and mentoring team members while collaborating with cross-functional departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. You will operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting critical service infrastructure, with opportunities to influence operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication are essential for success.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor field service technicians, ensuring day-to-day operations meet performance standards
- Coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and track work order completion and labor allocation
- Support escalated customer issues and maintain strong relationships to drive satisfaction
- Collaborate with service coordinators, account managers, and training teams to optimize operations and compliance
- Monitor service quality, address issues with third-party vendors, and ensure proper parts usage
- Facilitate onboarding and ongoing development of technicians through training and mentoring
- Maintain reporting, documentation, and communication with internal teams and customers
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in field service management, service operations, or technical support roles
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) is a plus
- Passion for clean energy, electric vehicles, or sustainable technologies
- Preferred: Electrician or Foreman experience, Journeyman certification
