Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Scheduling Coordinator delivers timely, accurate, and high-quality service coordination for injured workers while providing exceptional customer service. This role serves as a key point of contact for a diverse group of stakeholders, including Insurance Carriers, Provider Offices, Attorney Offices, and Claimants.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring onsite work one day per month following training. To support thorough onboarding and success in the role, the Scheduling Coordinator is required to work onsite full-time for 2–3 months during the initial training period. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills are essential to effectively manage service scheduling and stakeholder coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule healthcare and support services for injured workers
  • Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, and claimants
  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of all interactions and service arrangements
  • Ensure services are delivered in a timely manner and aligned with client requirements
  • Provide professional, courteous, and responsive customer service to all stakeholders
  • Meet established attendance, productivity, and performance standards

The Scheduling Coordinator may be responsible for scheduling some or all of the following services:

  • Transportation Services
  • Translation Services
  • Travel Arrangements
  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
  • Prosthetics and Medical Supplies
  • STIMS Units
  • Home Health Services
  • RN/LPN/LVN Care
  • Home Health Aide Services
  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Hospital Discharge Services
  • Diagnostic Studies
  • Home or Vehicle Modifications
  • Outpatient Physical Medicine Services
