Job Summary: The Vice President of Product Development and Deployment provides strategic leadership for the company’s product lifecycle and deployment organization, delivering innovative, secure, and scalable physical security and life safety solutions for our clients. This role oversees product strategy, development, deployment, and operational performance, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations, regulatory standards, and company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead product development and deployment, including design, engineering, testing, and nationwide implementation.
- Define and execute product roadmaps, scalable processes, and deployment strategies supporting strategic accounts and multi-site portfolios.
- Oversee operational and product risk, quality assurance, and compliance, ensuring successful launches and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Manage P&L, budgets, and resource allocation for product initiatives.
- Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, and deployment specialists.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer success to align product strategy and deployment with client needs.
- Develop and manage vendor, partner, and subcontractor relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and nationwide coverage.
- Drive innovation, portfolio expansion, and continuous improvement across product development and deployment programs.
- Perform additional duties as required to support evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of leadership in product development, deployment, or engineering, ideally within physical security or life safety systems, supporting strategic clients and multi-site environments.
- Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, and operational performance while delivering complex products.
- Strong knowledge of security and life safety systems, product lifecycle management, and deployment practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and product management/collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams with a focus on quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with an insurable driving record and proof of automobile liability and property damage coverage.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform work while seated, standing, walking, or moving between locations for extended periods.
- Use computers and related technology, read electronic and printed materials, and observe details at close range.
- Communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically, and occasionally move light objects or travel to other work locations as business needs require.
- Drive to work, client sites, and other SafeTouch branches as business needs require.
Job Type: Full-time, exempt
Work/Base Location: Remote
Work Hours/Availability: Core business hours, and as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
Travel: Approximately 50%, although it will vary with business needs.
