TRIAGE NURSE at Decatur County Memorial Hospital – Greensburg, Indiana

Director of Physician Practices

Provides nursing triage services and health advice for patients over the phone using the Clear Triage software program. Evaluates, assesses, and documents patients' symptoms, questions, and concerns. Schedules in-office and telehealth appointments. Advises patients to emergency treatment when warranted.

Monday through Friday day shift; typical schedule 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of practical nursing or ASN, BSN, Diploma Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.

Two years related experience required.

Experience in navigating EMR to gather information.

Knowledge of computers and data entry.

Must be a Licensed nurse registered in the State of Indiana. BLS certification required.

Multi-line telephone experience helpful. This position requires constant sitting, use of hands and fingers, lifting and carrying 0–10 lbs and pushing and pulling 0–12 lbs.
