Lead Lifeguard - Seasonal at Winston Hospitality, Inc. – Thackerville, Oklahoma

Are you a certified lifeguard with strong leadership skills and a passion for safety? We're looking for a SEASONAL (May-Oct) Lead Lifeguard to help lead our pool operations at Winstar World Casino Hotel—creating a safe, welcoming environment for our guests while supporting and guiding our lifeguard team.

As Lead Lifeguard, you'll set the tone for our pool safety program. You'll actively supervise the lifeguard team, monitor the pool and hot tub areas, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed with professionalism and consistency.

• Monitoring pool activity and ensuring lifeguards are alert, engaged, and enforcing safety rules
• Coaching and supporting lifeguard staff during shifts
• Performing rescues, first aid, and emergency response when needed
• Conducting equipment checks and reporting maintenance issues
• Assisting with scheduling, training, and ongoing safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and guest-ready pool area
• Responding to guest questions with friendly, helpful service
• Working closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth pool operations

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a dependable, guest-focused leader who is:

• Certified in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid (American Red Cross or equivalent)
• Experienced in aquatic safety and lifeguard supervision
• Comfortable leading a team and setting a positive example
• Physically able to perform rescues, lift up to 25 lbs, and work on their feet for extended periods
• Organized, proactive, and able to respond calmly in high-pressure situations
• Able to maintain detailed safety logs and follow emergency procedures
• A strong communicator with a professional and friendly attitude

A background in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus!
