Field Technician at Uptown Rental Properties LLC – Florence, Kentucky

📍 Greater Cincinnati | Full-Time | First Shift | $17–$18/hour

We’re looking for a dependable, skilled Field Technician to support interior and exterior property upkeep across multiple sites. This is a full-time, first-shift position requiring the use of a company vehicle to travel between properties.

You’ll play a critical role in maintaining curb appeal, cleanliness, safety, and overall resident satisfaction.

• Maintain exterior grounds and common areas to Uptown’s high standards

• Trash management, including compactor use and moving bins on scheduled days

• Litter removal in exterior and interior common areas

• Gutter cleaning, leaf blowing, pet station maintenance

• Snow removal and salting walkways during winter weather

• Complete daily work orders efficiently using an iPhone-based system

• Track property conditions and report new service issues

• Support large projects and assist with moving furniture, appliances, and materials

• Respond to emergency weather events to ensure resident safety

• Address interruptions and unplanned needs

• Support team goals and assist with additional tasks as assigned

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle

• Prior Field Technician, Porter, or Grounds experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable interacting with residents of all ages and backgrounds

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report

This position involves moderate to heavy physical demands, including:

• Standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting for ~90% of the workday

• Climbing ladders up to 9 feet and working in overhead areas

• Frequently lifting 50+ lbs and occasionally lifting 100+ lbs

• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Use of PPE when required

• $17–$18/hour with paid training
