Sheet Metal Fabricator at CAROLINA ATLANTIC ROOFING SUPPLY LLC – Stanley, North Carolina

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, organizing material, fabrication of trims and edge metal systems, fabrication of specialty components, and routine maintenance of equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Receive and process materials received from vendors
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for cycle counts
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience working with others
• Familiarity with sheet metal and sheet metal equipment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift objects greater than 50 lbs. consistently
• Current forklift license
• High school or equivalent degree
• Willingness to take on special projects as assigned
• Building Products/Roofing Experience a plus
