SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a full-time Social Worker for the DASH (Diagnostic, Assessment, and Stabilization Hub) Crisis Center. The DASH Crisis Center is a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week outpatient crisis stabilization program that includes a 24-hour crisis hotline and mobile response team. The Social Worker will be responsible for intakes, individual and group therapy, and clinical documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Social Worker will conduct clinical crisis and risk assessments and stabilization services to adults, adolescents and children with the full range of DSM diagnoses (including both mental health and substance use disorders).
- Completion of all clinical documentation in accordance with regulations in an electronic medical record.
- Provide linkage and follow up to clients during stabilization period and immediately following.
- Coordination with outside providers and collateral contacts.
- Attendance at routine supervision/team meeting.
- Coordinate treatment with multidisciplinary team.
- Evening and weekend hours may be required.
- The Social Worker will complete training and maintain proficiency with de-escalation and physical restraint skills.

- The Social Worker will assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
- Set priorities, develop a work schedule, and monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities.
- Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
- Computer skills and experience with Electronic Health Records required.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and active enrollment in a master’s program in a relevant clinical field required; master’s degree in a relevant clinical field is preferred.
Relevant clinical licensure, LMSW, LMHC, LCSW or equivalent preferred. Certification as
CASAC/CASAC-T preferred.
At least six months’ experience in a behavioral health setting is required. Clinical experience is preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are required. Experience with an Electronic
Health Record is preferred
Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Evening, weekend and overnight hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to bend, stretch, and stand for long periods of time.
