About This Position

Principal Product Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Product Analyst in the United States.

This is a senior, high-impact analytics role at the intersection of product strategy, data science, and experimentation within a fast-evolving digital lending environment. You will act as a key strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Design leaders, shaping decisions that directly influence user experience and business growth. The role focuses on transforming complex behavioral and product data into clear, actionable insights that drive experimentation, optimization, and roadmap direction. You will own the analytics approach for a core product area, helping define success metrics and uncover growth opportunities across the user journey. Operating in a highly data-driven and AI-powered organization, you will contribute to building scalable analytics frameworks and experimentation systems. This is a remote-first role with opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and periodic in-person team sessions.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the analytical strategy for key product initiatives and serve as a trusted advisor to senior product stakeholders, ensuring data is central to decision-making. You will design and execute advanced experimentation frameworks and deliver insights that shape product direction and performance.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to define success metrics, evaluate opportunities, and guide product strategy using data-driven insights
  • Own the full experimentation lifecycle, including hypothesis development, A/B testing design, execution, and executive-level analysis and reporting
  • Conduct deep behavioral and funnel analyses to identify friction points, retention drivers, and opportunities for growth across user journeys
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable product recommendations that directly influence roadmap priorities and feature development
  • Build and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting tools to enable self-serve insights across teams
  • Collaborate with Engineering to define tracking requirements and ensure high-quality data infrastructure for new product launches
  • Support continuous improvement of analytics frameworks, experimentation practices, and product measurement systems
Requirements

You bring extensive experience in product analytics or a related quantitative discipline, with a strong ability to combine statistical rigor, business acumen, and product intuition. You are comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations.

  • 10+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or similar roles focused on user behavior and product optimization
  • Strong expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling
  • Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B tests with strong understanding of experimental design and statistical methods
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and BI solutions using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or equivalent platforms
  • Strong ability to communicate complex insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design teams in a data-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to thrive in ambiguous, evolving contexts
  • Preferred: advanced degree in a quantitative field and/or experience in financial services, lending, or risk analytics
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus and equity compensation
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans, with high employer contribution
  • 401(k) plan with generous employer matching
  • Employee stock purchase program with discounted equity opportunities
  • Flexible remote-first work model with periodic in-person collaboration sessions
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and company holidays
  • Paid parental and family leave programs
  • Wellness, productivity, and personal development allowances
  • Financial planning support and employee assistance programs
  • Strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
