Income Tax Analyst

Role Description

We are looking for an Income Tax Analyst to join our team.
You will report to the Director of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting.

Location

Hybrid role – working at least 3 days a week from our office in Bangalore.

What you will be doing

• Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly income tax provision preparation

• Assist with U.S. federal and state tax payments.

• Prepare income-tax related journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assist with annual audit requests

• Assist with tax compliance requests, such as annual report filings, submitting on-line payments, and managing various business license renewal

• Assist with mandatory government surveys

• Assist with ad hoc requests as needed

What you should have

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA or chartered accountant preferred

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience; mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience preferred.

• Highly detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and proactive. Must have strong work ethic and be able to meet critical deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research and interpret accounting guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

• Excellent team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

• Knowledge and experience Oracle Cloud highly preferred.
