Income Tax Analyst

Role Description
We are looking for an Income Tax Analyst to join our team.
You will report to the Director of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting.
Location
Hybrid role – working at least 3 days a week from our office in Bangalore.
What you will be doing
Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly income tax provision preparation
Assist with U.S. federal and state tax payments.
Prepare income-tax related journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with annual audit requests
Assist with tax compliance requests, such as annual report filings, submitting on-line payments, and managing various business license renewal
Assist with mandatory government surveys
Assist with ad hoc requests as needed
What you should have
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or chartered accountant preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience; mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience preferred.
Highly detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and proactive. Must have strong work ethic and be able to meet critical deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research and interpret accounting guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Knowledge and experience Oracle Cloud highly preferred.
