Senior Scientist - NEPA at KeenLogic – Arlington, Virginia

Overview:

KeenLogic is seeking a Senior Scientist (NEPA) to support our team with one of our government clients. This position supports Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) in delivering Facility Environmental Compliance, Planning, and Resiliency Technical Support across Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.  

The role focuses on supporting compliance with all NEPA laws and regulations in accordance with PWS section 5.2.1. across DoD facilities. Responsibilities include providing technical support for NEPA program implementation, preparing documentation such as reports, presentations, and environmental analyses, and assisting with design reviews. The position also involves supporting the development and updates of NEPA programs in response to regulatory changes and ensuring all documentation aligns with compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and 10 years of relevant work experience

• Master’s degree in science or engineering and 8 years of relevant work experience

Required Work Experience:

• Supporting federal facilities in compliance with all NEPA laws and regulations

• Providing technical support to implement NEPA program requirements

• Preparing reports, presentations, documentation, design review comments, and all associated NEPA documentation

• Aid with development and revision of the NEPA program as rule changes occur

Preferred Experience:

• Experience supporting NEPA programs for DoD facilities
