- Own end-to-end delivery of key initiatives that improve repayment performance, reduce delinquency, and enhance operational efficiency across servicing workflows.
- Drive architecture evolution of the servicing platform, focusing on scalability, modularity, reliability, observability, and long-term system health.
- Partner closely with Product, Risk, Operations, and Compliance to design smarter collections strategies and seamless borrower-facing experiences.
- Ensure high reliability of core systems, including uptime, data integrity, incident response readiness, and production stability.
- Support engineering velocity by leveraging modern tools and AI responsibly, especially within regulated and high-stakes environments.
- Stay close to the code when needed, unblock technical challenges, and elevate engineering quality across the team.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in engineering leadership roles managing teams.
- Strong full-stack engineering foundation with the ability to contribute to architecture decisions, debugging, and technical design.
- Experience building or operating high-reliability systems such as payments, lending, billing, or servicing platforms.
- Proven ability to scale engineering teams and systems in fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Passion for mentoring engineers and fostering technical growth and accountability.
- Nice to have: fintech or regulated industry experience, familiarity with servicing KPIs (delinquency, recovery, cost to collect), experience building internal operational tools, and practical use of AI to improve workflows.
- Competitive base salary ($244,300 – $293,160 USD) plus annual performance bonus and equity opportunities
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with additional savings plans
- 401(k) with company match and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (RSUs included)
- Work-from-home support including Mac equipment, home office stipend, and monthly internet/phone reimbursement
- Generous PTO policy and competitive parental leave programs
- Annual $1,000 travel perk to support personal time off experiences
- Robust tuition reimbursement and learning development support
- Flexible, remote-friendly work environment
- Additional wellness, financial, and lifestyle benefits designed to support long-term employee wellbeing
