Host at The Flame – Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin

Summary/Objective: The position will be responsible for welcoming guests to the restaurant and managing reservations and seating arrangements. They provide initial greetings, escort guests to tables, and ensure a smooth flow of restaurant operations.

Essential Job Functions: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
•Greet and welcome guests as they arrive.
•Manage reservations and prioritize seating preferences.
•Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
•Maintain a clean reception area and dining room.
•Answer incoming calls and address customer inquiries.
•Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff for efficient operations.
•Clean and sanitize dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors.
•Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
•Empty trash and dispose of waste materials properly.
•Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors on a regular basis.
•Assist with other cleaning tasks as directed by management.

Work Environment: The Host position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interaction with staff and customers. The role involves prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
•This is a Part-time Non-Exempt position.
•Flexibility in working hours is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are the peak times for restaurant operations.
•Mandatory meetings and participating in training.
