Manager Sea Cargo Taiwan at cargo-partner – Taipei

Descriptions of Key Responsibilities/ Tasks:

1. To perform the most challenging tasks in the area of sea cargo shipments, booking and delivering of shipments
2. To make decisions on FCL/LCL development strategies ( inbound & outbound trades) on country level
3. To maintain agents relationship in accordance with company policy
4. To create SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
5. To handle pricing & calculation and make offers to customers
6. To coordinate and work close with local sales teams, special sales actions
7. To accept offers and optimizes the organization of transport
8. To be responsible for monthly results of the department
9. To monitor KPI for the department
10. To select service provider and monitor the cost
11. To handle daily operations for project shipments and VIP accounts
12. To monitor the completion of procedure for dispatching and delivering of shipments (entering electronic data, cover of insurance etc.)
13. To monitor timely invoicing and payments
14. To monitor the keeping of budget lines
15. To develop improvement initiatives of continuous business success
16. To make analysis of request (credit worthiness of the Company)
17. To set target with the department and monitor the achievement
18. To provide customer service and keep contact with agents
19. To adjust complaints – Trouble Shooting
20. To handle claims together with legal department
21. to issue obligatory instruction, directives and information in his/her field of responsibility and monitor compliance and performance
22. To be responsible for personnel leadership within the department
23. To coordinate within the department and with other departments and countries within the Company
24. To train and mentor high potentials in operations and sales
25. To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.

University degree in Business Administration/ Logistics or equivalent with relevant and at least 8 years industrial experience of which 4 years must be in managerial positions

Computer basic knowledge, MS Office
