Position Overview:
The Management Assistant will provide support to management and staff within Brantwood Nursing & Rehab Center.
Position Highlights:
- Starting Rate: $14.00 + per hour (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities:
• Manages the scheduling process for staff; organizes and prepares work schedules for employees to ensure the appropriate amount of staff is available and scheduled for each work shift within 24x7 facility operation. Accepts and responds to calls from staff during normal business hours Mon-Fri.
• Schedules resident appointments; working with appropriate transportation agencies to ensure proper transport of residents.
• Manages central supply for Brantwood; maintains inventory levels and orders supplies for the facility; partners with Materials Management within Health System to order and replenish supplies. Ensures that supplies are managed within budget.
• Answers and routes telephone calls, faxes and electronic communications appropriately.
• Works closely with LTC Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Clinical Managers to ensure proper staffing coverage and appropriate inventory PAR levels.
• Other duties as needed
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in long term care setting required. Proficient with computers. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively. Must demonstrate proficiency with basic math skills. Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all staff, medical staff, residents and families. Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks. Ability to work against time constraints. Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing required tasks. Ability to represent Brantwood Nursing & Rehab Center in a positive and professional manner. Ability to coordinate work by using resourcefulness to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency. Knowledge of all local, state and federal resources. Ability to communicate effectively with and gain the confidence of staff, residents and residents' families and to project a positive attitude at all times. General experience maintaining inventory and supplies is preferred.
