D&E Landscaping and Grading, Inc. is hiring dedicated Lawn Laborers and experienced Lawn Foremen to support our growing residential, commercial, and government lawn maintenance projects. From mowing and edging to seasonal cleanups and site-specific care, youll work with a high-performing crew to deliver top-tier lawn services with a focus on safety, teamwork, and job site efficiency. With workweeks ranging from 5060 hours, this role is ideal for individuals ready to grow their skills, stay active outdoors, and take pride in high-quality landscaping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute daily lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, aeration, seeding, and blowing.

  • Operate small landscaping equipment such as zero-turn mowers, weed trimmers, and backpack blowers.

  • Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and within assigned timeframes.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and company vehicle.

  • Follow instructions from crew leaders or foremen and collaborate with team members.

  • As a Lawn Foreman:
    • Lead and direct a crew of 24 laborers on job sites.

    • Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

    • Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.

    • Track and submit timecards, receipts, and daily logs accurately.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred (minimum 12 years for laborers; 35 years for foremen).

  • Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment required.

  • Chauffeur License and valid Medical Card required for Lawn Foreman role.

  • Strong work ethic and reliabilitymust consistently show up early and ready to work.

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Team player with attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Work Schedule
  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 6:30 PM

  • Saturdays: 7:00 AM 2:00 PM (as needed)

  • Hours: 5060 hours per week

  • Lunch: 45-minute break (30 minutes automatically deducted)

  • Must arrive at least 5 minutes before scheduled start time

Work Location
  • Meet daily at company office in Richmond, MI

  • Travel to job sites with company work truck and crew

  • Mileage reimbursement for approved job-related personal vehicle use
