Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and support for all accounting and financial activities, including fiduciary responsibilities, purchasing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client support matters, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Partner with the Regional Vice President to review, analyze, and discuss operational and financial performance, trends, and strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers, drivers, helpers, mechanics, office staff, and cross-functional teams throughout the organization
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff by providing leadership oversight to department managers and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Oversee recruitment efforts for both exempt and non-exempt employees, partnering with Human Resources to coordinate onboarding and training programs
• Lead the development of annual budgets and conduct ongoing reviews of monthly financial performance and long-term projections
• Identify, develop, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and financial results
• Support the development and execution of annual goals, strategic initiatives, and performance improvement plans
• Evaluate existing processes and internal controls, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
• Lead or support special projects as assigned, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational priorities
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with municipal partners while identifying opportunities to build new relationships to support future growth

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience; masters degree preferred
• Demonstrated management or supervisory experience, preferably within the waste or transportation industry
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven leadership capability with experience building and developing teams
• Valid drivers license required
• Commercial Drivers License and DOT Medical Card preferred

Salary: $120K annually plus 30% performance bonus plus car allowance
