Job Title: RV Sales Consultant
Overview
The RV Sales Consultant plays a key role in helping customers discover the right recreational vehicle to match their travel goals, lifestyle, and budget. This position combines product expertise, relationship-building, and consultative selling to create an exceptional buying experience. The ideal candidate is motivated, personable, and comfortable guiding customers through a significant purchase with confidence and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers on the lot, in the showroom, and through digital channels to understand their needs and preferences
- Conduct detailed walk-throughs of RV models, highlighting features, benefits, and differences between units
- Build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships through follow-ups, communication, and exceptional service
- Guide customers through the full sales process, including trade-ins, financing options, and closing paperwork
- Stay current on RV trends, product updates, and competitive offerings
- Collaborate with sales managers, finance teams, and service departments to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics
- Participate in training sessions, dealership events, and promotional activities
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred (automotive, RV, marine, or similar industries a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn technical product details and explain them clearly
- Self-motivated with a positive, customer-first mindset
- Comfortable working weekends and peak seasonal hours
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
