HOUSEKEEPERS

We are seeking an experienced housekeeper to join our team. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for conducting multiple functions throughout assigned areas of our community. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be dedicated to serving seniors, and committed to growing with our family.

Description of Position:

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to ensure that the highest degree of cleanliness is

always maintained in resident rooms and common areas of the community, in a quick, efficient, and

friendly manner.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned areas of the community, including resident apartments, common areas, and offices
• Ensure that all areas are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
• Assist with the laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and dedication to serving seniors

LAUNDRY AIDE (Seasonal)

Reports to: Administrator

Description of Position:

The Laundry Aide is responsible for providing laundry services to ensure a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents at the assisted living facility community.

Responsibilities of the Laundry Aide:

1. Performs all laundry duties including collecting, sorting, washing, drying residents' laundry and facility's linens in provided appliances.

2. Folds and hangs laundry appropriately and distributes laundered articles and linens.

3. Follows all safety and infection control policies and practices of the facility.

4. Performs tasks according to established time measures and standards.

5. Maintains equipment and restocks supplies as needed.

6. Responsible for maintaining the facility's laundry area in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition, including mopping floors and washing walls regularly.

7. Reports potentially unsafe conditions promptly to Supervisor.

8. Ensures residents safety when in resident areas ensuring carts are always kept out of the way, not blocking exits and in compliance with fire codes.

9. Performs resident caregiving duties as assigned.

May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
