About This Position

Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The stock control operator role is integral to operations: pulling and placing inventory and packaging in designated W.I.P areas,

returning stock to inventory per SLAs using forklifts or pallet jacks, documenting shortages and downtime, and performing cycle counts.

Each operator keeps warehouse areas clean and free of debris.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure orderly distribution to all W.I.P areas.
  • Return completed goods from all W.I.P areas back to inventory.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in JDE.
  • Feed packaging to all operation areas.
  • Locate materials and supplies per pull sheets and verify.
  • Complete pre-use inspections on material handling equipment; report repairs.
  • Perform cycle counts as required.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely.
  • Keep inventory and W.I.P areas clean.
  • Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous stock/inventory experience a plus.
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus.
  • Prior Material Handler experience preferred but not required.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Practice safe work habits regularly.
  • Work overtime as needed (nights/weekends).
  • Perform basic math.
  • Read, write, and produce legible documentation.
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
  • Walk, kneel, stoop regularly; twist, bend, stretch, climb regularly.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Hold valid forklift certification.
  • Knowledge of GMP.
  • Read and understand MSDS.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environment: Exposure to hazardous chemicals; outside, office, lab, warehouse, and food-grade areas; production facility with seasonal temperature variation.

Physical Factors: Lifting, sitting, walking, stooping, crouching, crawling, standing.
