Insurance Clerk - Home Health

The Insurance Clerk — Home Health verifies patient insurance coverage and obtains authorizations when applicable. Processes and ensures the completeness of insurance claims. Answers questions concerning account status. Completes chart audits on discharge pending prior to final billing. Assists all secretarial functions for the department.
Education: High School Diploma Required
Experience Requirements: Computer, fax, and basic office machine operation.
