About This Position

Construction Project Managers (Education/School Projects Required)

We are seeking two (2) full-time Construction Project Managers with proven end-to-end project delivery experience supporting education construction projects across K-12 and Higher Education environments. This is an opportunity to lead impactful builds that directly shape learning environmentsfrom ground-up schools to campus renovations and capital improvement programs.

The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, stakeholder communication, and on-site execution. Experience working within active/occupied campuses, public sector processes, and education facility standards is highly valued.

These roles are locally based in the Washington, DC area, with regular travel between the office and regional project sites throughout the DMV. Candidates must be comfortable maintaining a visible field presence while partnering closely with clients, design teams, and internal leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications
  • 4 to 8+ years of experience
  • Experience in construction project management, with a focus on large or complex projects in schools.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. (strong scheduling, budgeting, and risk management)
  • Proficient in PM and cost estimation software

Requirements
  • Create and manage detailed project work plans, cost estimates, and timelines, keeping deliverables aligned with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, design partners, consultants, and trade contractors to foster transparent communication and productive partnerships.
  • Oversee day-to-day project performance, tracking key deliverables and maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Anticipate potential challenges, implement solutions, and revise project strategies as needed to keep workstreams on course.
  • Perform routine field inspections to verify schedule adherence and ensure safety protocols and quality benchmarks are upheld.
  • Partner with estimating and purchasing teams to secure labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with project schedules.
  • Develop and deliver progress updates, budget projections, and risk analyses for executive leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Administer change management processes, including scope revisions and contract updates, while safeguarding schedule and budget targets.
  • Coach and guide project staff, encouraging teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
Mid-level PM (4-7 YOE) range: $90-120K
Senior-level PM (8+ YOE) range: $125-140K

**No company vehicle but will have a vehicle allowance**
