Job Summary:
The Safety/Compliance Lead supports the daily coordination of safety, compliance, and enforcement activities across Somersett Owners Association. This role ensures that community standards, governing documents, and policies are applied consistently while maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach.
The position works closely with staff and management to coordinate inspections, track compliance activity, and support communication with residents. The Lead helps maintain organized systems, ensures daily operations run smoothly, and provides guidance and support to team members as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily guidance and support to safety and compliance staff to ensure consistency in enforcement and service
  • Assist with scheduling, coverage, and coordination of staff assignments
  • Support onboarding and training of staff on procedures and expectations
  • Maintain accurate records of violations, correspondence, and compliance activity
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure adherence to community standards
  • Prepare and distribute communication to homeowners regarding compliance matters
  • Maintain accurate homeowner and compliance records within VMS or similar systems
  • Enforce parking and property regulations in accordance with established policies
  • Monitor community areas to prevent violations and maintain order
  • Coordinate towing actions as needed, ensuring compliance with procedures and legal requirements
  • Conduct routine patrols and monitor activity to support a safe community environment
  • Document incidents and provide clear, timely reports to management
  • Address trespassing or violations in accordance with established procedures
  • Work with homeowners to address violations and provide guidance on community standards
  • Investigate reported concerns and determine appropriate action
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support overall community operations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with VMS or similar HOA management software preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and execute verbal and written instructions proficiently.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for providing excellent customer service.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills, especially for time-sensitive tasks.
  • Familiarity with HOA policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in security, compliance enforcement or similar field.
  • Fluent oral and written English communication skills are mandatory.
  • A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to spend prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and talking.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at once.

Work requires the physical capacity of working for extended periods of time with exposure to diverse environmental situations and adverse weather conditions.

Work Schedule:
This Full-Time position works weekday and weekend hours and may include holidays. The times this position works varies, successful applicants must be willing to work evenings and overnight. The schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the organization.
