This role sits at the intersection of security strategy, engineering execution, and emerging AI risk management, with responsibility for strengthening and scaling enterprise security programs in a fast-evolving technology environment. You will lead initiatives spanning security operations, application and cloud security, and GenAI governance, ensuring robust protection across complex digital systems. Acting as both a technical leader and strategic partner, you will help define security standards, drive incident response maturity, and embed security practices into development lifecycles. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to translate security risks into actionable solutions. You will also play a key role in advancing security architecture for AI-driven systems, including LLMs and modern API-based ecosystems. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires balancing strategic oversight with deep technical engagement.

- Define and govern GenAI security strategy, including policies, controls, monitoring, and risk mitigation for LLMs, agents, APIs, and AI-driven systems
- Oversee security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, threat detection, and remediation coordination with engineering teams
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and implement risk-based mitigation strategies
- Drive DevSecOps practices, including secure system design, CI/CD integration, IAM, logging, and cloud security across AWS, GCP, or Azure environments
- Build and enhance security tooling, automation, and monitoring systems to improve detection, response, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed security requirements into product development and ensure alignment with business objectives
- 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, Application Security, or Cloud Security roles
- At least 3 years of experience leading and mentoring technical security teams in high-growth or SaaS environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in secure system design, cloud platforms, APIs, IAM, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management
- Experience in security operations, incident response, and use of tools such as SIEM platforms, Splunk, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with GenAI/LLM security risks including prompt injection, data leakage, and model misuse
- Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python) for automation and security tooling development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business impact and influence stakeholders across teams
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Competitive base salary with performance-based compensation (USD 140,000 – 170,000 range)
- Equity participation through RSUs for long-term value sharing
- Remote-first flexibility with autonomy in work structure
- Unlimited paid time off and company-wide wellness breaks
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance from day one
- Paid parental leave and family support benefits
- Learning and development stipend for professional growth and certifications
- Retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions
- Additional wellness, mental health, and employee assistance programs.
