Hours: Candidate is to remain flexible to work 08 hours between the hours of 0600 – 1800, Monday through Friday. Standard workday is 0800 – 1700.
Travel: Travel as required with less than 15% - 25 % per fiscal year

Functional Description:
DDG is seeking a Quality Control Specialist III to join our team! DCGS-MC provides Family of Systems (FoS) life cycle logistics support to Naval Information Warfare Information Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic). To include, but not limited to, material procurement assistance, material fielding of new equipment to United States Marine Corps (USMC) units, transportability assessments of proposed systems, reliability and sustainability engineering support to both new and previously fielded systems, technical writing, material management and supply support. Additionally, DCGS provides production and technical hardware support for new Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5/C6ISR) and information technology (IT) capabilities, maintenance and upgrade of existing C5/C6ISR and IT capabilities, and integration of existing hardware and software capabilities into a consolidated system baseline.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for program integration and test team members; resolve process deficiencies, gives technical guidance, and directly supports project Lead on IPT requirements.
- Assist in the development of internal Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of HCI technologies (e.g., Harvester w/Rancher, Dell VxRail), virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, ESXi), and software-defined networking.
- Experience integrating on-premise HCI with public cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
- Management of Vendors.
- Experience with hardware/software vendors (Cisco UCS, Dell, HPE) and their support mechanisms.
- Strong analytical, communication, initiative, and ability to resolve issues and accomplish tasks pertaining to lab support environment.
- Cross collaborate and work within Sprint and SCRUM Teams (Gathering of processes from engineers) with understanding of Kanban process.
Required Experience:
- Five (05) years in IT, with extensive experience in infrastructure architecture, server virtualization, and storage engineering, procedures and guidelines for C4 / C5 / C6ISR or similar systems or equipment.
- Security+ Certification.
Desired Experience:
Specific knowledge of Linux OS(s), open-source use of Hyperconverged Infrastructure platforms, such as Harvester.
Education Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or relevant degree in reschedule in technical or computer-oriented fields of study is required.
