In this role, you will be responsible for driving organic search performance across high-impact digital projects in Portuguese-speaking markets within the fast-evolving sports betting and iGaming industry. You will play a central role in defining and executing SEO content strategies, shaping how pages are structured, optimized, and positioned for maximum visibility. The position involves close collaboration with technical, editorial, and off-page teams to ensure cohesive and scalable SEO execution. You will work in a dynamic, experimental environment where testing new approaches is part of the daily routine. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and a deep understanding of SEO content performance. In this role, you will be responsible for leading SEO content initiatives and ensuring strong organic performance across key digital properties. You will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO content strategies aligned with business goals
- Create detailed content briefs with optimized structures, targeting search performance and user intent
- Design and manage internal linking structures to improve crawlability and page authority distribution
- Conduct content audits to identify gaps, optimization opportunities, and performance improvements
- Analyze competitors and market trends to strengthen organic visibility and strategic positioning
- Collaborate with technical SEO and off-page teams to ensure alignment with overall SEO strategy
- Provide feedback and guidance to writers and editors to maintain content quality and SEO standards
You should bring strong SEO expertise combined with content strategy experience and a performance-driven mindset. Expected qualifications include:
- Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a strong focus on content strategy
- Experience in iGaming or sports-related industries (strong advantage)
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals such as on-page optimization, internal linking, cannibalization, and topical authority
- Ability to analyze search engines and ranking behavior to guide content decisions
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
