You will serve as the primary liaison between complex technical developments and the communities where they are built, ensuring transparency, trust, and long-term partnership. The position plays a critical role in shaping how local stakeholders understand, experience, and benefit from next-generation AI infrastructure. You will design and execute engagement strategies that proactively address concerns, surface community priorities, and reduce friction throughout development cycles. Operating in highly visible and often sensitive environments, you will help ensure that projects are socially responsible and locally supported. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, political awareness, and the ability to translate technical initiatives into meaningful community impact. In this role, you will lead end-to-end community engagement efforts across data center development sites, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and proactive communication strategies that support successful project delivery.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with local leaders, community organizations, residents, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute community engagement strategies across all stages of site development and operations.
• Translate community feedback into actionable insights that inform project planning and decision-making.
• Represent the organization in public meetings, hearings, forums, and community events.
• Design proactive communication approaches to address concerns, highlight benefits, and mitigate potential opposition.
• Partner with environmental and development teams to communicate sustainability and infrastructure impact initiatives.
• Support economic development initiatives, including workforce, education, and community benefit programs.
• Monitor community sentiment and advise leadership on risks, opportunities, and emerging issues.
• Create scalable community engagement frameworks and best practices for multi-site deployment.

The ideal candidate is an experienced community engagement or public affairs professional with a strong track record of managing stakeholder relationships in complex infrastructure or technology environments.

• 6+ years of experience in community affairs, public engagement, or corporate communications.
• Proven experience engaging diverse stakeholders in large-scale infrastructure or technology projects.
• Strong public speaking, facilitation, and communication skills in high-visibility environments.
• Ability to manage sensitive political, reputational, and community relations issues effectively.
• Experience integrating community benefit programs such as workforce development or education initiatives.
• Strong collaboration skills with experience working across government, corporate, and community groups.
• Ability to translate complex technical or infrastructure concepts into accessible messaging.
• Strategic mindset with strong judgment and adaptability in evolving environments.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to a designated local community near project sites, with regular in-person engagement required.
