1st Shift Saw Operator in Shreve, Ohio at RHB ACQUISITION LLC

Set up, adjust, and operate single or multiple saws and/or cutting machines to cut stock to length.

Key Responsibilities:

· Select and set machine automatic feed, speeds, for type of material cutting characteristics and to ensure production

standards and quality requirements are met

· Load machines with multiple lengths of stock, as is standard operating procedure

· May setup and operate two or more machines simultaneously as directed by supervisor

· Diagnose machine malfunctions, setup and operating difficulties, causing deviations and make corrective adjustments

· Work from drawings, specifications, charts, and layouts to ensure cut length tolerances are correct

· Use proper inspection tooling to monitor tolerances

· Complete all required paperwork accurately, attention to detail

· Proceed under general supervision; guidance provided on new work or variations on the product line

· Work is subject to process and final inspection and test

· Keep work area clean and organized

Physical Requirements, General Working Environment:

· Requires standing, lifting and bending

· Proper lifting techniques, lift assist

· Impact, crush, cut and pinch-point knowledge

· Chemical exposure, SDS awareness

· Seasonal warm, cold

Education:

High school graduate or GED equivalent

Attention to time management, results-oriented

On the job training, comprehension of machine operating procedures and adherence to safety protocols

$16.50/hr. minimum to start, experience based
