Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage quality control programs across all production facilities in compliance with PCI, NPCA, ACPA, and applicable ASTM/AASHTO standards
• Oversee and direct plant-level QC personnel, providing training, mentorship, and technical guidance
• Design, review and approve concrete mix designs, ensuring performance requirements are consistently met
• Manage and maintain testing programs including but not limited to ASR testing, Coulomb testing, resistivity testing, compressive strength testing, and other applicable methods
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party inspections and certification audits
• Investigate and resolve quality non-conformances, lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes
• Collaborate with the engineering team on product development, shop drawing review, and specification compliance
• Liaise with customers, project engineers, and inspectors on quality-related matters
• Maintain accurate and thorough QC documentation, test records, and reporting
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant state DOT and federal quality standards for infrastructure products
• Stay current with industry developments, standards updates, and best practices in precast concrete quality management

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will be considered
• Experience in precast or prestressed concrete manufacturing
• Hands-on concrete mix design experience
• Familiarity with PCI, NPCA, and/or ACPA certification requirements and auditing processes
• Demonstrated experience in concrete construction, manufacturing, or materials testing
• Strong understanding of concrete materials, properties, and quality standards (ASTM, AASHTO)
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a manufacturing or industrial environment
