We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing strategic relationships for an electrical transformer manufacturing company. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building partnerships both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical understanding of transformer solutions along with proven commercial acumen.
DUTIES:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and project management teams to deliver tailored transformer solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, emerging markets, and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Partner with international stakeholders, distributors, and clients to expand global footprint and support global business initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction from order through delivery.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience in electrical equipment, power systems, or transformer manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of electrical transformers, power distribution, and energy infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success in developing new markets and closing complex deals.
- Experience working with international customers or markets is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-driven with a global mindset.
