SE District Sales Manager - N. Carolina & S. Carolina at Behlen Mfg Co. – Sarasota, Florida

Location: Southeast Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina

This role represents a trusted brand with nearly 90 years of manufacturing excellence, supported by our Sarasota, Florida facility and additional U.S. production locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow, support, and strengthen a PEMB Builder network
• Recruit, onboard, and develop new Builder accounts
• Conduct regular in-person meetings with general contractors, erectors, installers, and developers (travel required)
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements, including estimating responsibilities
• Develop scopes of work to generate qualified quotations and purchase orders
• Manage territory planning, travel scheduling, and sales forecasting

Qualifications

• Must reside in Southeast Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina
• Minimum 5 years of PEMB experience (sales, design, estimating, or project management experience beneficial)
• Strong technical ability to read drawings, specifications, and load requirements
• Experience reviewing plans and coordinating accurate estimates
• Highly organized with strong planning, follow-up, and time-management habits
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (experience with MBS pricing software is beneficial)
• Self-motivated, positive, and solutions-focused
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, estimating, and marketing
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement (ISO 9001)
