Senior Developer, Full Stack PHP at Postal Center International – Weston, Florida

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack PHP Developer to join our dynamic software development team. You will drive innovation and support our MailView™ enterprise platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, user-friendly solutions. You will play a key part in automating business processes and ensuring our technology remains at the forefront of industry standards.

• Type: Full-time, onsite (Weston FL)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30PM, requires on-call and after-hours support as needed

Software Development & Integration

• Design, develop, and implement business solutions primarily using PHP Laravel, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest front end cross-platform technologies such as Flutter, and apply them where appropriate.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Streamline, standardize, and automate business processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and proactively implement improvements.

Security & Compliance

• Apply a security-first approach to all development activities, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of solutions and data.
• Maintain awareness of secure coding practices.

Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical support, create SOP documentation, and deliver training to users as needed.
• Be efficient with escalating and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure user satisfaction.

Experience and Qualifications:

Required

• 5+ years in similar role implementing enterprise automation solutions.
• 5+ years customizing and optimizing UI for multi-device support (phone, tablet, and PC).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with scripting and programming (Linux command line, PowerShell, JSON).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical audiences, including process documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Software development certifications.
• Background in secure coding.

Preferred

• Experience managing Linux containers and VMs, especially for LAMP stacks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git, BitBucket).
• Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS certified preferred)
