Job Description

Description:

Proactive care works best when nutrition is personal, connected, and grounded in real data.

At True Health, nutrition is not an add-on or a handout. It is a core part of how people change their health for the long term, with clear guidance, practical next steps, and support that fits real life.

True Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who turns diagnostic insight into daily action, and daily action into measurable progress.

Why This Role Matters

True Health exists to deliver care that is proactive, connected, and transformative. Nutrition is one of the most powerful levers in that mission, especially when it is individualized, evidence-based, and integrated with the rest of a patient’s care.

In this role, you help patients optimize metabolic health, longevity, and performance by meeting them where they are and guiding them toward sustainable behavior change. You do not just share information. You build clarity, confidence, and momentum.

What You'll Be Doing

You deliver personalized nutrition care, document it well, and help True Health bring nutrition to life across the patient experience.

You lead one-on-one patient nutrition care

· Conduct comprehensive individual nutrition counseling focused on prevention, performance, and long-term optimization.

· Build individualized goals and care plans that match each patient’s medical profile and lifestyle.

· Deliver each patient’s personalized plan within three business days of their initial session.

· Teach with clear, evidence-based guidance that supports sustainable change.

You turn diagnostics into actionable plans and clean documentation

· Document visits in the EHR accurately and compliantly, completing notes within 24 hours.

· Analyze and enter nutrition and diagnostic data such as body composition and lab results into physician packets and care plans.

· Protect data integrity so the clinical team can trust what they are using to guide care.

· Deliver reports to the team on time, with accuracy and consistency.

You build education and show up in the community

· Create and maintain nutrition education materials, digital tools, and patient-facing assets.

· Lead or support at least four community wellness initiatives or events each year.

· Partner with Lifestyle Medicine and Marketing to shape nutrition-focused workshops and campaigns.

· Contribute content and resources that strengthen patient engagement and understanding.

You integrate nutrition into a multidisciplinary care team

· Partner with physicians, health coaches, physical therapists, and mental health providers to deliver unified care.

· Participate in team huddles, case discussions, and program development work.

· Serve as a nutrition subject matter expert and mentor for staff.

· Coordinate across programs so nutrition care aligns with the broader clinical plan.

You improve quality through outcomes and iteration

· Monitor patient outcomes and adjust recommendations based on progress and clinical data.

· Spot opportunities to improve how nutrition is delivered and scaled across programs.

· Stay aligned with True Health’s standards for optimized healthcare and patient experience.

· Use what you learn from patients and outcomes to strengthen the program over time.

What You Bring

You're someone who:

· Can hold space for real behavior change, balancing empathy with clear, evidence-based direction.

· Keeps your follow-through strong, so patients and clinicians can rely on your timelines and next steps.

· Makes complex data feel understandable and usable, without talking down to people.

· Communicates in a way that builds trust across patients, physicians, and cross-functional partners.

· Improves what you touch, noticing what is not working and helping refine the process.

Experience that helps:

· Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related health science field.

· Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

· Background providing one-on-one nutrition counseling for at least five years in preventive, primary care, or concierge settings.

· Proficiency with electronic health records such as Athena or an equivalent system.

Total Rewards

In addition to competitive pay, True Health offers the following benefits: Medical, Dental, and vision insurance; 401k; Basic Life Insurance; and Short and Long-term Disability, in addition to paid time off and paid holidays.

We are an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to protected characteristics.
