This is a senior creative leadership role responsible for defining, elevating, and scaling the creative vision across a portfolio of higher education marketing initiatives. The position sits at the intersection of brand storytelling and performance marketing, requiring a leader who can inspire bold, differentiated creative while ensuring measurable business impact. You will oversee multidisciplinary creative teams spanning design, content, video, and strategy, building systems that support both high-end brand work and fast, performance-driven execution. The role operates in a fast-paced, data-informed environment where creativity must balance innovation, scalability, and efficiency. Acting as both a visionary leader and hands-on creative authority, you will shape how institutions are positioned and how prospective students are engaged across all channels. This is a highly visible role that directly influences client success, campaign performance, and long-term brand growth.
- Define and lead the end-to-end creative vision across brand and performance marketing campaigns, ensuring strong alignment with institutional positioning and audience engagement goals.
- Serve as senior creative lead in high-stakes client interactions, including pitches, presentations, and strategic storytelling to university partners.
- Oversee all creative disciplines including design, copywriting, art direction, video production, and content strategy, ensuring consistent quality and cohesive execution across channels.
- Build scalable systems, workflows, and production models that enable high-volume, high-quality creative output with speed, consistency, and efficiency.
- Partner with performance marketing and analytics teams to optimize creative based on data, continuously improving campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Lead omnichannel content development across digital, social, email, web, video, print, and broadcast formats while ensuring brand consistency and performance alignment.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary creative team while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- 12+ years of experience in creative roles, including significant leadership experience across brand and performance marketing environments.
- Proven ability to lead and scale multidisciplinary creative teams across design, content, video, and strategy functions.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple channels including digital, social, web, video, print, and integrated campaigns.
- Experience in client-facing leadership roles, including pitching creative concepts and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of how creative drives engagement, conversion, and measurable marketing performance.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.
- Familiarity with modern creative production tools and an ability to integrate new technologies, including AI, into workflows.
