Sr. Account Director (Remote)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Director - REMOTE. This role is pivotal in driving the sales strategy, net revenue growth, gross margin, and profitability in the Mid-Atlantic region. The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of the regional account plans for major clients, focusing on delivering value and high customer satisfaction. You will nurture cross-functional relationships and utilize your extensive experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry to identify business opportunities. Success in this role requires a combination of sales acumen, strategic thinking, and an analytical mindset.
Accountabilities
  • Drive profitable growth by meeting sales goals and increasing customer transactions
  • Research and develop new business opportunities
  • Negotiate annual agreements with major accounts
  • Create business analysis reports and forecasts
  • Develop new business initiatives to enhance profitability
  • Formulate short- and long-term strategic plans for initiative rollout
  • Analyze current business portfolios and product lifecycles
  • Implement marketing programs to enhance sales growth
  • Attend trade shows to promote sales growth and market presence
  • Maintain professionalism while representing the company
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector
  • Proven organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities for high-pressure environments
  • Solid analytical skills and strategic problem solving
  • Proactive attitude in dynamic settings
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Experience in P&L/budget management
