Wound Specialist, RN at CaroMont Health – Gastonia, North Carolina

Job Summary: Functions in the role of expert clinician and educator care patients. May provide care in the inpatient and outpatient setting, as directed by the Hyperbaric & Wound Center Director. In collaboration with the medical and ancillary staff, provides and monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical support to improve patient care and outcomes to any service or ancillary of CaroMont Health. The Registered Nurse who is also trained as a hyperbaric technician will utilize the Hyperbaric Technician CEW in addition to the RN.

Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). BSN preferred. Specialty certification (Wound or Ostomy) preferred. Ability to work with the multidisciplinary team and communicate with all members on behalf of the patient. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good critical thinking skills that result in positive patient outcomes. BLS required.
