About the Role
The Creative Director provides strategic and hands-on creative leadership across the company’s hospitality and event portfolio. This role is responsible for elevating creative vision, execution quality, operational consistency, and team performance across all events, brand experiences, and client deliverables.
This leader partners closely with clients and internal teams to translate vision into memorable, high-quality experiences — balancing creative innovation with operational excellence, scalability, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Vision
- Lead creative direction for key events, brand activations, and experiential projects from concept through execution.
- Establish and maintain creative standards that ensure consistency, quality, and brand integrity across all deliverables.
- Translate client goals and business objectives into compelling creative concepts and guest experiences.
- Provide direction on visual assets, branding, proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
- Champion elevated design thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement across creative output.
Client Engagement
- Serve as a senior creative partner in client meetings, presentations, site visits, and walkthroughs.
- Lead creative conversations with confidence and clarity while aligning expectations, budgets, and timelines.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and thoughtful problem solving.
- Ensure creative intent is protected through all phases of planning and execution.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing creative team.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and energized creative culture.
- Establish clear roles, feedback rhythms, performance expectations, and development plans.
- Lead creative workshops, brainstorms, and design reviews to strengthen ideation and alignment.
Operations, Systems & Process
- Design and continuously improve workflows, SOPs, timelines, and review processes that streamline creative execution.
- Partner with operations, marketing, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless handoff and alignment.
- Improve resourcing, scheduling, and capacity planning to support scalability and profitability.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Source, onboard, and manage external creative partners, designers, fabricators, florists, production vendors, and specialty suppliers.
- Negotiate scopes, pricing, timelines, and quality standards.
- Maintain a reliable network of partners to support growth and creative flexibility.
On-Site Execution & Quality Control
- Attend on-site events as required to ensure creative accuracy, brand consistency, and elevated guest experience.
- Troubleshoot in real time and ensure final delivery meets creative standards.
- Maintain accountability for timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes.

Schedule Requirements
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (in-office required; remote work only for pre-approved days or special circumstances).
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time, salaried position: $90,000++ per year, based on experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience leading creative teams and large-scale event or experiential projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, spatial design, storytelling, and execution excellence.
- Extensive experience working directly with clients.
- Demonstrated success building scalable workflows and creative operations.
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to balance creativity, budgets, and logistics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of experience in creative leadership within hospitality, events, experiential marketing, or production environments.
- Experience managing multi-location events or large-format productions.
- Vendor contract negotiation and budget ownership.
- Experience scaling creative teams or departments.
