As a Senior Principal Architect, you will lead complex engineering initiatives, drive innovation across networking and security technologies, and directly influence the evolution of critical platforms. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to translate real-world requirements into scalable, high-performance systems. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic thinking, enabling you to shape architecture decisions from concept to production. You will also play a key role in solving high-impact customer challenges, mentoring technical teams, and building future-ready solutions. This is a highly visible role in a dynamic, fast-paced, and technically advanced environment.
Accountabilities:- Design, architect, and develop complex security and networking solutions from concept to deployment.
- Lead the breakdown of complex engineering challenges and rapidly prototype innovative technical solutions.
- Handle critical customer escalation issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution.
- Collaborate with product management to define new features, technical roadmaps, and system capabilities.
- Translate customer needs and operational feedback into architectural improvements and product enhancements.
- Guide engineering teams through architectural best practices, design reviews, and technical mentorship.
- Ensure solutions meet high standards of performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or advanced development roles.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in C, with deep knowledge of systems-level development.
- Extensive experience with TCP/IP, UDP, and core networking protocols.
- Solid understanding of firewall technologies, NAT, and network security architectures.
- Experience with multi-core and multi-threaded programming environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and infrastructure is a strong plus.
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
