About This Position

Description: Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, upkeep, and repair of facility equipment and machinery. This role supports production by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment to identify wear, alignment issues, lubrication needs, or safety concerns.
  • Install, modify, and repair mechanical components, motors, conveyors, presses, CNC machines, and other production equipment.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and facility improvement projects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following OSHA and company safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve recurring issues and support operational improvements.
  • Order and manage maintenance parts and supplies as needed.
  • Participate in training to stay current on new equipment and maintenance practices.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Experience working with CNC machinery, robotics, or automated equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts when necessary.
