The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting of the injection molding processes and related equipment. The technician will ensure that the necessary adjustments are made to the equipment so that the processes run efficiently.
Work Schedule
Thursday: 1:00PM - 7:00 PM
Friday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- The technician will ensure that the necessary adjustments are made to the equipment, so that the processes run efficiently.
- Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process, including, but not limited to, set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and workflow.
- Work with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
- Generate documentation on molding runs that can be used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.
- Follow established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Complete required paperwork routing/setup sheet, time sheet etc.
- Confer with Production Manager, area leaders, programmers, engineers, or others to resolve molding or assembly issues.
- Input and/or retrieve the correct program code from the machine and network.
- Other assignments as requested.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in injection molding or extrusion molding
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication
- Experience with Process Control Documentation
- Understanding of injection molding machine operation
- Basic knowledge of computers including MS office, Email, etc.
- Ability to record setting parameters for current products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate Ranger Robot a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to frequently move, transport, and position equipment

Hourly Range: $ 20.68 -$30.17
