About This Position
Position Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: New York, New York, United States
Description: H&H is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join the firm's New York City office. This will be a contract to hire position that supports business intelligence, data analysis, and day-to-day IT operations while working closely with cross-functional teams across the organization. The IT Business Analyst serves as a key link between business users and IT, translating reporting and system needs into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Qlik applications, dashboards, and data models
• Write and optimize Qlik load scripts and expressions
• Gather reporting requirements from business users and translate them into effective BI solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability across dashboards
SQL and Data Support
• Write and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Support data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting across systems
• Assist with data integration between Deltek Vantagepoint, Qlik, and other platforms
IT Support and Operations
• Provide day-to-day IT support for end users, including hardware, software, and access issues
• Troubleshoot application, system, and connectivity issues
• Manage and resolve IT tickets in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with user account management, permissions, and basic system administration
• Escalate complex infrastructure or security issues as appropriate
Collaboration and Process Improvement
• Act as a liaison between business users, finance, operations, and IT teams
• Document systems, processes, and technical solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and system efficiency
Requirements:
Benefits: Salary range - $80,000-$100,000 annually. Commensurate with experience

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role; experience in engineering consulting or a similar industry preferred
- Experience with BI tools such as Qlik, Power BI, and SQL
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data warehousing concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, preferred
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
