Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Perform, document, and maintain daily and routine equipment maintenance and quality control activities
• Identify issues with instruments, reagents, test results, or supplies and initiate appropriate troubleshooting actions
• Accurately record and report test results using laboratory computer systems, including timely notification of critical (panic) values
• Respond to client questions and concerns in a professional, courteous, and timely manner while following departmental guidelines
• Assist in training and mentoring new employees and students in relevant technical areas
• Adhere to all corporate integrity, compliance, and safety policies
• Support overall laboratory operations by performing additional duties as needed

Required Experience:

• Associates or Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS/CLS)
• ASCP or AMT certification (or eligibility) or an equivalent credential required
• Strong attention to details
• Performed accurate data entry and data analysis
