Are you a dynamic, relationship-driven leader passionate about connecting the Dallas business community to a life-changing mission? Vogel is seeking a Director of Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorships to expand and deepen corporate engagement in support of our mission to help young children and families overcome homelessness and poverty. In this vital role, you will build on Vogel's long-standing corporate relationships—particularly those connected to our annual Arts Performance Event—and transform them into year-round strategic partnerships.

By cultivating corporate leaders and securing vital sponsorships, you'll create meaningful opportunities for companies to invest in the future of our community. You will work closely with the Chief Development Officer, our development team, and board members to identify prospects and open doors with corporate executives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in fundraising or business development and possesses the networking skills to expand Vogel's presence across Dallas.

This is a full-time leadership position based in Dallas, Texas, reporting to the Chief Development Officer. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $122,500 per year.

Vogel is a well-established nonprofit organization located in Dallas with a history spanning over 36 years. Our core mission is centered around providing exceptional care and early childhood education for young children from homeless and domestic abuse shelters, all within our NAEYC accredited child care facility. Our innovative approach works to support both children and their parents through a two-generation strategy, offering resources that set families on a path toward a brighter future.

What You'll Do
Scope of Responsibility:
  • Strategic development, execution, and management of Vogel's corporate partnership and sponsorship programs.
  • Leading corporate sponsorship efforts for signature events, including the Arts Performance Event and the Corporate Dodgeball Tournament.
  • Transforming one-time event sponsors into long-term, year-round strategic partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnership Development
  • Identify and cultivate corporate partners across the Dallas business community.
  • Secure corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and philanthropic investments.
  • Develop multi-year corporate partnerships aligned with Vogel's strategic priorities.
  • Maintain a portfolio of corporate relationships and conduct prospect research and outreach.
  • Develop a tiered corporate partnership program (e.g., Champion, Leadership, Community, and Supporting partners).
Signature Event Leadership
  • Manage existing and recruit new corporate sponsors for the Arts Performance Event.
  • Lead the Corporate Dodgeball Tournament by recruiting teams, growing participation, and engaging younger corporate leaders.
  • Develop innovative sponsorship packages that provide value to corporate investors.
Engagement & Stewardship
  • Develop employee volunteer opportunities and launch corporate giving campaigns.
  • Create cause-marketing partnerships and provide high-level stewardship and recognition.
  • Collaborate with board members to leverage their networks and participate in meetings with the CEO and CDO.
What Will Make You Successful in This Role (Skills)
Required:
  • 7–10 years of experience in corporate fundraising, sponsorships, partnerships, or business development.
  • Demonstrated success in securing high-level corporate sponsorships or partnerships.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with comfort working alongside corporate executives.
  • Ability to build a pipeline of 25–40 corporate prospects within the first year.
Preferred:
  • Deep connections within the Dallas business community.
  • Experience in nonprofit development or large-scale event sponsorship.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to convert event-based support into year-round philanthropic investment.
